Contributing to an Account

How Are Contributions Made?

All Contributions to your Account must be in cash. You can make Contributions to your Account by:

  • check;
  • money order;
  • payroll deduction;
  • electronic funds transfer;
  • automatic investment plan; or
  • a rollover from another 529 qualified tuition program
Checks and money orders should be made payable to the “Bright Directions College Savings Program” and sent to the following address:

With an automatic investment plan or electronic funds transfer, you can initiate Contributions, stop making Contributions, change your Contribution amount, or change your bank or the frequency of Contributions by contacting your financial advisor or the Program Manager, by logging onto your account online, or by completing the appropriate form.
